How can I get live research help?

Answer

You have three main options for requesting research help.

Option #1:

Stop by the library during our open hours. That would be 8 am- 9 pm on Monday-Thursday and 12-6 pm on Friday-Sunday. You can speak with a librarian in-person to get some research help for assignments, like annotated bibliographies, research proposals, bibliographic essays, literature reviews, or research papers.

Option #2:

Use the online live-chat box on our library homepage to get an immediate response from a librarian. The chat box option automatically pops up on the homepage after about a minute. Usually, you will hear from an A&M- Central Texas library staff member during our open hours. We can provide services such as book renewals, catalog searching, database searching suggestions, and directional information.

Option #3:

If you would like to work with a librarian one-on-one for a more detailed research question or assignment, we recommend you schedule an appointment ahead of time. You can do that here: https://tamuct.libcal.com/appointments
